Chris Allen, founder and owner of The Allen Real Estate Group, has worked in the Oklahoma real estate industry for 10 plus years. He originally got his start in real estate nearly 20 years ago as investor/owner of the company in which his father practiced real estate in Florida, Intra Coastal Realty. He has taken his business from a one man show in 2001 at MetroMark in Nichols Hills, to slowly growing a team with Re/Max First to branching off to run his own show as Broker/Owner of The Allen Group (TAG).

Chris had record sales his first year in business and hasn’t slowed down yet. TAG has averaged one home sold every five days for the last three years and continues to be a company on the competitive edge. Additional licensed Realtors & office staff hired give clients the benefits of experience with top quality marketing for their properties and personal help day in and day out. Using social media along with good ol’ fashion connections within the industry give TAG a leg up in the competitive market. New construction, custom built homes and urban dwellings are areas in which The Allen Group is currently diversifying; yet residential real estate will continue to be the mainstay of TAG’s business.


Chris grew up in Oklahoma City and Edmond. He attended Edmond Schools and Casady Middle and High School, where he graduated in 1987. Earning a spot at the United States Air Force Academy, he was active in golf, snow boarding and academics and graduated from USAFA on the Dean’s Honor List in 1991 when President Bush, Sr. presented him with his commissioning as a Lieutenant in the USAF. He has piloted planes to every continent in the world, including the South Pole, flying the C-21 Learjet and C-141 Starlifter aircrafts. Towards the end of his tenure in the Air Force, he worked as a Presidential Support Pilot and one of five Nuclear Airlift Aircraft Commanders. Leaving the US Air Force in 2000, Chris accepted a pilot position flying the Boeing 737 with Delta Airlines.
Training and working for a major airline gave him a corporate perspective with real bottom line issues affecting him directly. Chris’s management positions in the Air Force, the up close and personal experience of being furloughed by Delta Airlines after 9-11 and learning to adapt to new environments with his work has given him some amazing insight into working with people and growing business smart.

He has been described as one of the toughest negotiators in the business! As a matter of fact, Chris completed the negotiation tactics course from the Harvard Negotiation Project. Chris was a member of the RE/MAX 100% Club, Executive Club and Platinum Club. The Allen Group placed in the “Top 10 Teams” for the entire state of Oklahoma for five years prior to Chris forming his own brokerage real estate company. He has numerous accreditations as does his team and has a proven track record of selling homes in Oklahoma for top dollar!

Parenting three daughters with his wife Stacey, Chris enjoys living and working in the city in which he was raised. He attends Crossings Community Church, serves on the Oklahoma City K-Life board and is an avid outdoorsman.
